Process Excellence Partner Product Development
Location Texas
My client a business software services company. Its team's charter is to deliver for customers. You will work with the Business Unit to drive growth by improving the end to end Customer Experience. This opportunity requires a unique skill set of 6 sigma as well as a background in the product development cycle.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate will be an energetic accomplished charismatic Six Sigma professional. The background of this candidate must include a history of success along with a strong traditional six sigma skill set. Backgound in a Product development area is essential. A background in software development is a plus.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Apply the Leadership Model to partner with process owners to identify and execute the highest impact projects
- Use deployment, diagnosis, and discovery tools and approaches to determine how we are delivering for customers
- Assess, diagnose and drive customer focused mindset
- Leverage customer framing for change linked to improving customer experience…clear "what" and "how”
- Execution of the right intervention strategies and improvement initiatives to close the gaps in customer experience
- Use output metrics
- Determine approach and process on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other cross-functional team members
- Continually assess how leadership teams are living the Leadership Process
- Execute strategies to accelerate use of the Leadership Process
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and PE partners
- Role model and coach the Leadership Process
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to peer and client groups
- Transfer knowledge…engage, teach, coach
- Open to learning and finding ways to apply and test
- Distinguish, intervene, and coach on root cause at both process and systems levels
- Use and facilitate teams through logical frameworks/tools
-Demonstrate initiative, innovation, and creativity to drive breakthrough thinking
- Assess, analyze, influence and contract with stakeholders
- Plan, organize, and execute initiatives
- Develop linkages and partnerships across Business Units, Functional Groups and Core Processes.
- Represent/hold an outside perspective
- Self-assess development opportunities/gaps and create action(s) to improve
- Assess and frame within the realities of business context and culture
- Lead project teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Process Improvement Experience
- Experiences with best practices within direct sales processes
- Experience in a direct sales position highly desirable
- Customer focus (outside in vs. inside out)
- Strong applied sigma skills (certification not necessary, but must demonstrate practical applied experience)
- Can practically apply DMAIC/DFSS/DMADV best practices
- Lead cross-functional teams
- STRONG business acumen and change management skills
