My client is a publicly traded company with products that are both technological and market leaders.
Communication Specialist will be an integral part of creating and delivering a robust communications program with a focus on the company’s manufacturing operations, both inside and outside of the company. In a fast-moving marketing landscape, the communication specialist needs to be agile, flexible, strategic and tactical. They will need to have a strong grasp of strategic goals, as well as the ability to tactically execute.
Manage marketing communications materials (brochures, product guides, TDS, etc.) to ensure they are current and represent the brand
Contribute content and planning to all-employee/town hall meetings, the company Intranet, the external website and other projects as assigned
Cultivate relationships with local media to ensure the company is represented appropriately
Participate in crisis communications planning and support
Work across all levels and departments within the company to tell the company’s story and build the brand and its reputation.
3-5 years of experience in a corporate or agency setting. Experience or familiarity in manufacturing or technology Company is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field
Knowledge of digital media including but not limited to Word Press and SharePoint Online and proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and other design and word processing programs
This position will require occasional travel
