Responsibilities
Technical support for the install and servicing of Automatic Inspection Solutions for process control, press control and 100% Quality Assurance. The individual will work out of a home based office and travel to the customer. QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering technology or equivalent Strong computer and electronics aptitude Strong communication skills Experience with electronics, electronic equipment and computers is a plus Ability to travel between 50-60% overnight
Locations Milwaukee
Availability Opportunity is open due to business expansion
Report to Technical Service Manager of the Americas
Training Program 4 weeks with current engineers and the technical service manager 3 weeks training at the client’s overseas headquarters 3 + weeks additional training in the US with engineers or the technical service manager
POSITION GOALS
Install new applications of product Service existing customers of products
Market Segment Packaging and labeling manufacturers like Printpak, Alco, Bemis
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate will be an electronic savvy professional.. They will have a strong background in electronics and be able to handle the tasks involved in an install and service of an existing location. Work is both electronic and some mechanical. They will need to have good communication skills since they will be involved with customers on a daily basis. They will also have to be flexible to travel
